Jean Sidobre
1924-1988
Jean Sidobre, using the pseudonyme G. Levis and Georges Levis, is a designer and a writer of comic French. Jean Sidobre studied Fine Arts in Paris. After the Second World War, he began a career as an illustrator, as pseudenyme of Sinclair. He collaborates with newspapers "Marius," "Tonight" and "We Two". In 1949, he took the pseudonym Sylvia and began his first comics in the magazine "Eva".
From 1978 he specialised in Erotic Comics. Among these creations one can find the adventures of Liz and Beth, "published in" Adult Comic Strip "and albums by Neptune, and Dominique Leroy Glénat. Still for the publisher Leroy, he made adjustments to the "little girl" (1982) and "L'Ecole des Biches" (1984).
He is also known as the illustrator of the adventures of the famous Club Five in the Rose Library and Miss Caroline.
