Heinrich Lossow

1843-1897

Heinrich Lossow was born 1843 in Munich, where he died 1897.
His genre-pictures are orientated in the epoch of Rococo.
These late plates were published under the name "Ferray".
But when you turn round the etching on their heads,
you can read the name "Lossow".

One of his most known work was in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor (William Shakespeare)
